This September, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria continued its partnership with No Kid Hungry for its 12th consecutive year. Since 2012, Grimaldi’s has raised $1.1 million to fight childhood hunger through its annual fundraising campaign, equivalent to 10 million meals donated to date.
From September 1st through 30th, participating Grimaldi’s restaurants will offer a bounce back card to guests donating to No Kid Hungry redeemable on their next visit. The bounce back cards will be gifted in increments of $5 up to a total of $25 per visit. Donations must be made in the restaurant to receive the bounce back card. With each dollar raised, No Kid Hungry will provide up to 10 meals to hungry children across the U.S.
“We are proud to embark on our 12th annual campaign with No Kid Hungry and offer our guests an opportunity to help us fight childhood hunger nationwide,” says Micheal Flaum, COO of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. “No Kid Hungry’s commitment to solving problems of hunger in the United States aligns with Grimaldi’s mission to support its communities, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference through such an impactful organization.”
This year, Grimaldi’s is also celebrating 20 years since its expansion beyond New York to neighborhoods across the United States. Grimaldi’s first location outside of New York opened in Scottsdale, AZ on February 14, 2003, and continues to be one of its busiest locations. Over the past two decades, Grimaldi’s has become a household name recognized for its traditional coal fired, brick-oven pizza and casual, yet upscale New York-themed restaurants. Key to the brand’s success is its continued commitment to pizza-making traditions originating in Brooklyn over 100 years ago.
Guests who prefer to enjoy the Grimaldi’s experience in the comfort of their own home can place orders for carry-out or delivery from the Grimaldi’s website or delivery orders via DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria Rewards members will earn points with every order, including via dine-in, phone, mobile app and the Grimaldi’s website.
