Green Valley SmokeHouse and Oyster Bar Opens in Denver

Denver locals who crave a taste of the South are in luck: the city now offers an incredible new dining experience, featuring fresh seafood and Southern BBQ in an inviting atmosphere. Florida native, renowned restaurateur and CEO of the Home Team Restaurant Group, Joe Adeeb, has decades of experience in the culinary industry — starting with his family's well-loved dining establishments, The Green Turtle and The Sea Turtle — culminating in a mouth-watering new concept for residents of the mile-high city.

Continuing his family's legacy of excellence and customer satisfaction, Adeeb and his wife Brenda purchased the Bono's Bar-B-Q location in Jacksonville in 1980, then opened Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q. Eventually, between the two iconic establishments, Home Team Restaurant Group opened 37 Southern barbecue restaurants in five different states. Then, in 2018, his passion for freshly caught seafood inspired Adeeb to open the Aiken Fish House, followed by Peachtree City Yacht Club in 2021.

Now, delicious Southern barbecue and fresh seafood are pairing up at Home Team Restaurant Group's all-new Green Valley SmokeHouse and Oyster Bar, located in Denver's Green Valley Ranch community. Featuring a variety of BBQ dishes smoked on site, fresh seafood dishes, and even a raw bar, the versatile menu is not to be missed. Try the raw or char-broiled "New Orleans" style oysters; freshly smoked ribs, brisket, pork and turkey; or "Dockside" dishes such as Charleston shrimp n' grits and whole fried snapper. Indulge in Southern sides and desserts, from collard greens and cheesy grits to Key lime pie and banana pudding — or buy smoked meats by the pound for your next party or event.

Thrilled to be working with his longtime family friend Pat Hamill and the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, Adeeb looks forward to "bringing a truly unique dining experience to Denver and Green Valley Ranch," and heartily thanks patrons for the opportunity and the honor to serve.
