Motley Brews’ CEO Brian Chapin announced the return of the Great Vegas Festival of Beer, set for April 3-4 2020 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Celebrating its 10th year, the Great Vegas Festival of Beer is on track to have the largest attendance ever (possibly capping 10,000), making it the biggest public food & beverage event in Las Vegas in 2020.

Great Vegas Festival of Beer incorporates two events: Mad Craft Experience on April 3rd, 7-10 p.m. ($55) and The Great Tasting  on April 4th, 3-7 p.m. ($40 General Admission, $50 Early 2 p.m. entry, $95 VIP 2 p.m. entry).

Mad Craft will pit ten of Las Vegas’ best chefs in a friendly competition featuring several categories of cooking dishes with craft beer. New for Mad Craft 2020 is a craft cocktail competition, created by award-winning mixologist Adam Rains of The Golden Tiki and several favorite breweries offering a preview of the big event. Breweries will also compete in categories such as Best 10th Anniversary beer, Best Beer Blend and Best Beer Experiment.  Details on participants to follow in a separate release.

The Great Tasting offers an overwhelming and historic selection of some 400 beers from 100+ Nevadan, regional and national craft breweries, along with interactive tavern games, beer education seminars, karaoke, a silent disco and other fun activities. A curated food truck selection will offer snacks for all, while VIP ticket holders can enjoy special bites from over a half dozen of Vegas’ best chefs and exclusive beer pairings, as well as some new surprises. A complete listing of confirmed participants can be viewed at GreatVegasBeer.com.

“It’s really humbling to see how this festival has grown over the last ten years, alongside the amazing craft beer community—particularly those local breweries who have been with us since the year one,” says Chapin. “We are really excited to be bringing Las Vegas what we think will be our best and most comprehensive craft beer festival ever.”
