Gordon Ramsay North America  announced that Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay will be opening in Miami in 2022. Located in South Beach’s dynamic SoFi restaurant and nightlife neighborhood, Lucky Cat will immerse guests in its Asian Eating House theme and vibe, inspired by Tokyo’s 1930s kissas and Shanghai drinking dens. The name Lucky Cat comes from Asian culture where the ‘lucky cat’ is a talisman that is believed to attract good luck and fortune.  This will be the first U.S. location of Lucky Cat, and Chef Ramsay’s first restaurant in Miami.

Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay will feature signature dishes inspired by various regions with influences from across Asia, respecting the passion and culinary traditions from sushi and sashimi, buns and dumplings, tempura specialties, to skewers and a variety of exciting fish and meat entrees, beautifully crafted robata grilled dishes, and a variety of small plates and creative bar snacks.

In addition to an open kitchen, raw bar, private dining rooms and chef’s table, the 9,000 square-foot restaurant will feature a vibrant late-night lounge, inspired by the 1930’s drinking dens of the Far East. These nocturnal clubs were once the playground of urban dwellers seeking all things spirited and rebellious, and Lucky Cat will bring the spirit of these times to the heart of South Beach.

“I am so excited to bring Lucky Cat to Miami, and I can’t wait for guests to taste and see everything this fun and vibrant restaurant has to offer,” says Gordon Ramsay.

The original Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay opened in 2019, and is located in the heart of Mayfair London. The building of the new Miami location was designed by the world-renowned Arquitectonica, boasting South Beach’s signature art-deco architecture.

“The popular SoFi neighborhood is a top tourist destination known for cultural diversity, a scene for art lovers and world-renowned dining.  We’re so excited to add Lucky Cat as a neighbor to this incredible community. This is one of the few Lucky Cat restaurants we’ll bring to the United States and Miami is the perfect spot,” says Norman Abdallah, CEO of Gordon Ramsay North America.
