The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) presented Glory Days Grill with the Honorary Milestone Award, which is awarded to restaurants celebrating 25 years in business. The award was presented at the 39th Annual RAMMY Awards on September 19, which highlighted restaurants and the unprecedented challenges faced during a year which was so difficult on the hospitality industry. Glory Days Grill’s landmark anniversary during a year when many restaurants have shuttered speaks volumes to the company’s leadership and mission to provide great food and service to the communities in which it operates.

The Glory Days Grill story started in 1996 when the company’s founders, Richard Danker, Robert Garner and Jeff Newman, brought their experience and passion for food, sports, and family to develop a unique restaurant concept with a strong commitment to community. Glory Days Grill opened their first restaurant in Burke, Virginia, and a quarter of a century later the restaurant chain boasts nearly 40 locations up and down the east coast from Maryland to Florida with at least 4 more on the horizon in 2022.

Glory Days Grill, a sports-themed family restaurant chain, has invited their neighbors and fans to relive both their “glory days” past as well as celebrate new glory moments every day at their restaurants. Glory Days Grill was recently awarded seven awards from food fans in Northern Virginia including: Best Restaurant, Best Chef/Tony Cochones, Best Takeout/Curbside, Best Delivery, Best Wings, Best Burgers, and Best Place to Celebrate a Special Occasion/Fun Atmosphere.
