Frisch’s Big Boy is introducing three new items to celebrate the Cincinnati Zoo’s world famous hippopotamus, Fiona. A portion of the proceeds from each Berry Big Cake and Berry Pancakes and all of the proceeds from the Fiona plush toy will benefit the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.

Beginning July 22, and for a limited time, participating Frisch’s restaurants will offer:

Fiona Berry Big Cake with vanilla ice cream, blackberry sauce, unicorn whipped topping and purple sprinkles; Fiona pancakes, with unicorn whipped topping and purple sprinkles

Fiona Berry Big Pancakes including two fluffy pancakes, blackberry sauce, unicorn whipped topping and purple sprinkles

Fiona Plush Animal wearing her Big Boy t-shirt. A very limited amount of the Fiona Plush Animal will be available at each participating Frisch’s Big Boy location.

“Everyone at the Cincinnati Zoo would like to thank Frisch’s Big Boy,” says Thane Maynard, director of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. “Frisch’s Big Boy is a longtime supporter and sponsor of Frisch’s Discovery Center, an amphitheater in which children and adults see and touch live animals as they learn about caring for them.”

“Frisch’s enjoys a partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo that dates back to the 1970s. We are excited to offer these berry fun items that will help provide educational opportunities and take care of Big Boy’s friend, Fiona,” adds Jason Vaughn, president and CEO of Frisch’s Big Boy.
