With the holiday season approaching, Friendly’s has introduced five additions to its menu. These new entrées are guaranteed to offer something for every type of palate, and Friendly’s is looking forward to offering these tasty new creations with its guests.
Launched in November, the five new entrées are: Fajita Chicken Rice Bowl, which includes grilled fajita marinated chicken breast with sautéed onions and green peppers, served over a generous portion of rice and shredded lettuce, complete with crispy fried tortilla triangles and garnished with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole; Classic Lemon Pepper Fish, which is served over a bed of rice and accompanied by a vegetable medley; hearty Pub Style Grilled Chicken & Broccoli, with perfectly grilled chicken breast and broccoli florets covered in a creamy mixture of pub cheddar and alfredo sauce, served over a bed of rice; Traditional Turkey Dinner with all the fixings: sliced turkey breast served over a bed of flavorful stuffing covered with turkey gravy, accompanied by red skin mashed potatoes, corn, and cranberry sauce; and a homestyle favorite, Southern Chicken & Waffles, consisting of five crispy chicken tenders tossed in a honey maple sauce on a pearl sugar Belgian waffle. Entrée prices start at $9.99 depending on the dish, but prices vary by participating restaurants.
“For the future, Friendly’s has plans for introducing new and innovative food and ice cream offerings, bright new restaurants, and unique ways to reach and satisfy guests,” says Ed Valle, the newly appointed chief branding officer of Friendly’s. “Now as guests are out shopping for the holidays, they can stop in at their local Friendly’s location to slow down and enjoy the pleasure of a delicious meal with their family and friends this season.”
Each of these new entrées comes with a free small sundae to give guests the opportunity to end their meal on a sweet note. For guests that would like to get into the holiday spirit, Friendly’s is also excited to announce the return of the seasonal Peppermint Stick Brownie Sundae, a delectable creation consisting of creamy peppermint stick ice cream with rich brownie chunks, topped with signature hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and a cherry.
In addition to the new dishes and treats, Friendly’s is offering some sweet savings. Guests will receive a $5 bonus card when they purchase a $25 gift card, giving them the opportunity to share the joy with friends and family, and come back to try more of these delicious new offerings.
