Southern California-based Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, known for its extraordinary prime steakhouse experience and nationally acclaimed wine program, opened the doors to its highly anticipated new Beverly Hills location Monday, December 3. The new restaurant will introduce a striking new look for the iconic brand.

The opening of Fleming’s Beverly Hills brings the number of Fleming’s restaurants in California to 12 and total number of restaurants across the nation to 65. Planned as a world-class restaurant in a world-class community, the new open-design restaurant features extensive use of glass, including a dramatic floor-to-ceiling street-view front window and two-story wine display tower at the restaurant’s center.

Fleming’s brings to Beverly Hills not only an innovative new design, but the brand’s firm commitment to delivering to guests an unparalleled contemporary fine dining experience, combining its signature classic steaks with uniquely appealing, ever-evolving offerings such as its small plates and 5 for $6 ‘til 7 bar specialty menus, and celebrated wine programs such as the Fleming’s 100 wines by the glass list and 46 Diamonds boutique private-label wine (an annual limited-edition release in collaboration with some of the world’s leading winemakers and wineries).

The overall design concept, build-out and interior design for Fleming’s Beverly Hills was initiated and completed by Design Development Company of Agoura Hills, one of Interior Design Magazine’s “Top 20 Hospitality Design Giants in the Nation.” Key design features of the 7,200 square-foot 250-seat restaurant include a second-story mezzanine dining room and an exterior patio marked by a soaring plate-glass window, allowing passersby to view inside. The main dining space, built around an exhibition kitchen and an expansive bar comprises the soul of Fleming’s, emphasizing and more deeply connecting guests to the food, wine and socializing experience that is uniquely Fleming’s.

Lending its unique qualities to Fleming’s Beverly Hills’ contemporary and artful design, the building’s original high, circa 1940s bell-truss ceiling has been preserved and left visible to guests below, maintaining a historical sense of place.

According to Fleming’s President Skip Fox, “We have long wanted to introduce a Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Beverly Hills,” adding, “we are honored to be a part of such a notable international destination and look forward to being an active member of the community.”

“Along with my Chef Partner, Brandon Powell, and our 80 newly hired associates, we are excited to bring Fleming’s to Beverly Hills and spend December welcoming guests over the holidays,” says operating partner Tai Nguyen.

According to Nguyen, the restaurant’s official Grand Opening event, scheduled for Thursday, January 24, 2013, will be a fundraiser with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Beverly Hills Education Foundation that will kick off the organization’s 35th Anniversary Year.

Fleming’s Beverly Hills is located in the heart of Beverly Hills at 252 N. Beverly Dr. between Dayton Way and Wilshire Blvd. The restaurant will be open nightly to the public, beginning at 5 p.m.
