The Shoppes at Parma, in Parma, Ohio, announced that Five Guys Burgers and Fries opened for business. The rapidly growing burger chain is the latest to join the expanding list of restaurants at the 750,000-square-foot redeveloped shopping center. Five Guys is located at 8249 W. Ridgewood Dr. in the multi-tenant building along with T-Mobile and Mission BBQ.

Five Guys Parma showcases the newest Five Guys design with its handspun shakes and reimagined décor. “We are thrilled to bring Five Guys to Parma,” says Michele Nicholls, vice president of operations. “We have hired and trained an amazing group of local people to deliver the hand-formed burgers, fresh-cut fries and customizable milkshakes Five Guys’ customers have come to expect.”

“I am extremely excited about opening our latest location here in Parma and also getting the opportunity to be a part of a great community of people,” says Mike Mosko, general manager of Five Guys Parma.

Family-owned, Five Guys started near Washington, D.C. in 1986 by the Murrell family and, as the name suggests, includes five sons, the “five guys.” Five Guys has more than 1,400 locations throughout 49 states and nine countries, including the Unites States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, France and Spain.

The Shoppes at Parma is in the midst of an exciting transformation through its multi-phase redevelopment. The 750,000 square-foot open air center is anchored by J.C. Penney, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Gordmans department store, Walmart Supercenter and Marc’s grocery store and features specialty retailers, services and a wide variety of dining options. The Shoppes at Parma is located just eight miles southwest of downtown Cleveland at the intersection of Ridge Road and West Ridgewood Drive.
