Award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant First Watch made its debut in Wellington, Fla., January 28 with the opening of a restaurant in the Plaza at Wellington Green. The new 4,064 sq. ft. restaurant, located at 2335 S. State Rd. 7, features an outdoor patio and holds an end-cap space in the Office Depot-anchored shopping center.
“First Watch boasts a delicious and unique menu featuring items made from only the freshest ingredients,” says Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “We believe this, along with our fast and friendly service, will cater perfectly to Wellington’s family community.”
As the company kicks off its 30th year, its aggressive growth strategy continues to evolve in its home state. News of the Wellington restaurant comes on the heels of two other recent announcements for locations in Florida – St. Petersburg and Winter Park, opening in the first half of 2013.
The opening of the First Watch restaurant in Wellington brings the total number of restaurants in Southeast Florida to five. First Watch has 37 restaurants in the state and more than 100 nationwide.
The Wellington restaurant features an interior design concept known as “Connect.” It connects traditional First Watch design elements with contemporary executions by maximizing natural light provided during the restaurant’s daytime hours, and incorporating color tones intended to convey the warm and inviting personality of the First Watch brand. The design also accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation.
A recipient of more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country, First Watch features traditional favorites including pancakes, omelets, salads, and sandwiches, as well as signature specialties such as the Chickichanga, Healthy Turkey Omelet, and Fresh Fruit Crepes.
First Watch also offers its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown Panamanian, Colombian, and Mexican coffee beans.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers guests complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access .
