Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to savor more than a dozen new items on its dinner, vegan and Happy Hour menus. Crafted by Executive Chef Mimmo Ferraro, the new items comprise a variety of five-star Italian dishes, including expertly prepared all-natural meats, Safe Harbor seafood, and, of course, homemade pasta.
“The most wonderful thing about being a chef is constantly being able to change the menu and reinvent your idea of what a meal should be,” says Mimmo Ferraro, executive chef, Ferraro’s Ristorante. “No matter how many new dishes we create, there is always something different for every guest to enjoy.”
First, on the dinner menu, new dishes are:
- Gamberoni Genovese – Australian head-on tiger prawns, citrus sauce, herb oil, toasted parmigiana bread crumbs
- Prosciutto Crudo, Parmigiano, e Fichi – Del Re Prosciutto di Parma, fried Parmigiano dumpling, stracciatella, figs, hazelnuts, Saba
- Bufala alla Siciliana – Blistered cherry tomatoes, crispy capers, Mediterranean olives, pine nuts, basil oil, micro basil
- Spumante, Capesante, e Caviale – Acquerello risotto, sparkling wine, scallops, caviar, citrus zest
- Gnocchi Tre Colori – Potato dumplings, Pachino tomatoes, spinach puree, ricotta salata
- Tagliatelle Funghi e Tartufo Nero – Mixed mushrooms, porcini, thyme, parmigiana, fresh black truffles
- Tagliatelle Cacio, Pepe, e Granchio – Pecorino, lump crab, zucchini flowers, black pepper, lemon zest, breadcrumbs
- Salmone – Scottish salmon, house-roasted Campari tomatoes, cannellini beans, fennel, Mediterranean olives
- Branzino – Mediterranean sea bass, hazelnut crust, guanciale, figs, tarragon, white wine, spinach
- Pollo Limone – 10-ounce Airline chicken breast, lemon, white wine, garlic, rosemary, spinach, potato purée
- Controfiletto Tagliata – 14-ounce Prime New York strip steak, arugula, parmigiano, extra-virgin olive oil, Saba
The Vegan menu includes six new dishes:
- Risotto Funghi – Mixed mushrooms, thyme, vegan butter, vegan parmigiano, fresh black truffle
- Risotto Norma – Aquarello risotto, tomato sauce, eggplant, basil, vegan butter, vegan mozzarella, vegan parmigiano
- Rigatoni con Ragu di Lenticchie – House-made vegan rigatoni, lentil ragu, pomodoro sauce, vegan butter, vegan parmigiano
- Rigatoni Aglio, Olio, Primavera – House-made vegan rigatoni, olive oil, garlic, seasonal vegetables, vegan butter, vegan parmigiano
- Polenta con Funghi e Piselli – Cornmeal, mixed mushrooms, peas, pomodoro sauce, vegan parmigiano, vegan butter, vegan mozzarella
- Farro al Verdure – Farro grain, mixed seasonal vegetables, pomodoro sauce, vegan butter, vegan parmigiana
Chef Mimmo also added one dish to his “Ora Sociale,” the Italian version of Happy Hour available every night from 5-7 p.m.:
- Arancini Al Tartufo – Fried rice balls with truffle essence
Ferraro’s is open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Reservations are required with a credit card for parties of five or more.
