The first Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que restaurant in the state of Wyoming opens December 10 in Casper. Located at 5900 East 2nd St. in the McMurry Business Park, this new Famous Dave's restaurant has a spacious indoor dining space and a beautiful outdoor patio, which includes two fireplaces and scenic views of Casper Mountain.
"We are eager to introduce Wyomingites to the wonderful taste of Famous Dave's BBQ," says John D. Johnson, president of Johnson Restaurant Group and franchise co-owner of the new Famous Dave's restaurant.
"Famous Dave's diverse menu will surely be a hit with the Casper community and our spacious restaurant, including the picturesque views from our patio, will draw guests in from all around the community. Conveniently located in the McMurry Business Park, we know our restaurant will be the go-to place for business lunches and after-work happy hours. Looking ahead, we are excited to expand our Famous Dave's franchise with an opening in Gillette in 2013."
The newest Casper restaurant hosted a grand opening December 10 with a proceed of the day's sales to support Joshua's Storehouse, a 501c3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing food at no cost to low-income local families and individuals in need of short-term hunger relief.

The new Casper-based Famous Dave's restaurant is owned by Casper Dave's LLC, which is co-owned by Johnson Restaurant Group and Granite Peak Development. Day-to-day operations will be managed by Johnson Restaurant Group, which also owns and operates five other franchised and independent restaurants in Wyoming.
Open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., guests of the new Famous Dave's restaurant can enjoy both lunch and dinner in the 6,200 square foot restaurant.
