Family Fresh Pack, the Wisconsin-based specialty cheese packager, is excited about several changes made to its growing business. These new developments include investments in advanced technology, construction on a new plant that is nearing completion, and the updating of its quality systems to the SQF (Safe Quality Food) Code. Family Fresh Pack also announced the promotions of Todd Kriebs to president and COO and Kim Schiro to CFO. 

Together, these changes spell progress: Family Fresh Pack is embarking on an exciting era where plant expansion, state-of-the-art equipment, and new packaging lines will help serve the company’s growing customer base. The new Family Fresh Pack plant—on schedule to open this summer in Monticello, Wisconsin—exemplifies the company’s evolution. This third location will increase Family Fresh Pack’s capabilities for its cheese cut-and-wrap and cheese crumble product lines. “We are excited about the new possibilities that this plant offers for the continued growth and expansion of Family Fresh Pack,” Kriebs says.

Launched in the heart of Wisconsin’s cheese country in 1995, Family Fresh Pack’s packaging and product lines include deli-style cut-and-wrap operations, cheese crumbles in retail cups, cheese balls and cheese logs, a variety of cold pack spreads, and savory cream cheese spreads.

The original Belleville plant is dedicated to cold blend cheese spreads while the existing Monticello plant is devoted to the company’s main cut-and-wrap business and cheese crumbles. Specialties include cheese crumbles, cheese balls, and cheese-stuffed Peppadew peppers, and a selection of Mediterranean-inspired products such as cheese-stuffed olives and olive tapenades featuring Wisconsin cheese.
