Falcon Realty Advisors, a privately owned commercial real estate company, has strengthened its Restaurant and Entertainment Group by promoting Michael Walters to president of the Restaurant and Entertainment Group and appointing Cal Marsh as director of national restaurant accounts. In his new role, Walters will lead a team that specializes in market strategies, site selection, and negotiations on behalf of Falcon’s clients. Marsh’s responsibilities as director will include sourcing new restaurant clients and site selection on the national platform.

As a company that works exclusively with retail, restaurant, and entertainment tenants, the team’s extensive industry experience will help the North Texas-based company as it continues to expand its operations throughout the U.S.

“We have made great progress in attracting outstanding talent to strengthen our Restaurant and Entertainment platform and accelerate the firm’s growth. During Michael’s time at Falcon, he has achieved a distinguished track record and earned a reputation as a devoted leader, proving to be the best fit for the role,” says Tim Hughes, president and CEO of Falcon Realty Advisors. “With national market knowledge as well as exceptional relationship development and management skills, Cal and Michael are two of the most proficient and accomplished individuals in the industry.”

Before his promotion, Walters served as vice president, where he was responsible for assisting and executing market entries and performing roll out strategies for the company’s restaurant clients. For more than eight years, Walters has exclusively represented restaurants for Falcon Realty Advisors and will continue his commitment to the industry in his new role.

Marsh brings more than 25 years of restaurant industry experience to the firm, having specialized in corporate site selection and strategic planning on a national, regional, and local scale. Before joining Falcon Realty Advisors, Marsh served as senior real estate manager at Brinker International and senior director of real estate at California Pizza Kitchen. Marsh also held the position of vice president of real estate at Tavistock Restaurants and spent numerous years in landlord representation for GGP and Poag & McEwen.

Another recent addition to the Restaurant & Entertainment Group is restaurant industry veteran Lane Cardwell, who will serve as a director, advising Falcon Realty Advisors’ restaurant clients on their strategic positioning and concept branding. Cardwell has served as president of P.F. Chang’s, president and CEO of Boston Market, and president and CEO of Eatzi's Market and Bakery, a joint venture with Brinker International and Phil Romano.
