Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge welcomed Dan Landsberg as executive chef, further bolstering the talent at the Dallas Arts District restaurant. Alongside Landsberg’s arrival comes the return of daily breakfast and live music on the weekends at Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge.

Landsberg brings over three decades of experience to his new position as executive chef at Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge. In his new role, Landsberg oversees culinary operations for the concept, including menu ideation, personnel management and catering. Landsberg is passionate about creating flavourful dishes using seasonal ingredients and inspiring both his team and patrons throughout the process. He plans to roll out a new menu this spring that echoes namesake Ellie Hall’s dedication to the arts and authenticity through an elevated dining experience that satisfies all the senses without pretense.
Landsberg comes to HALL Arts Hotel following an 11-year tenure with ZaZa Hospitality where he led the culinary efforts at Dragonfly and later assisted in concepting and directing operations across the brand. His career has given him the opportunity to work with a variety of established restaurants, chefs and brands including Stephan Pyles Restaurant, Wynwood Hospitality, Tillman’s Roadhouse and Lange Twins Family Winery and Vineyard.
Perched on the hotel’s second floor overlooking the Texas Sculpture Walk, Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge is happy to bring back some of its favorite traditions and offerings just in time for spring. Guests and locals can now enjoy the return of daily breakfast service featuring elevated sunrise classics alongside a collection of barista-inspired coffee treats, teas and juices. Aligning with its devotion to the arts community, patrons of Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge can now savor the sounds of live music from the elegant Steinway grand piano lounge centerpiece every Friday and Saturday night.
Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge is open for daily breakfast and dinner, as well as weekend brunch service. Continuing to keep guests’ safety top of mind, Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge is maintaining its CDC-recommended COVID-19 protocols and mask wearing policies.
