Elixir Juice Bar has leased a 375-square-foot retail space at 434 Sixth Ave., between West 9th and West 10th Streets. Winick Realty Group LLC associate Charles Rapuano brokered the deal between Elixir Juice Bar and landlord Harran Holding Corp.

“There was a lot of activity in the space, with many juice bars drawn to the fact that this building is filled with yoga classes and ballet studios,” Rapuano says. “Ownership felt a juice bar would go well with the makeup of the building and were very excited by the idea.”

Elixir has been recognized over the years for its delicious premium smoothies, signature juice offerings and cleanses, along with its healthy foods to go. Founded in 1999 and now located in 16 venues throughout Manhattan and Connecticut such as World Financial Center, the Mercedes House, and various Equinox gyms, owner Jon Shepard expects to have the West Village store open for business in December and is looking forward to bringing Elixir back to the area where it launched its first location on Hudson Street.

“I am grateful to Charles Rapuano for moving so quickly to find this excellent location,” Shepard says. “We are looking forward to sharing our great-tasting and healthy offerings to the West Village community.”

Adds Rapuano, “Elixir Juice Bar has a great track record with their concept of very healthy, all-natural products. I think they will do really well in this young, hip area.”

Elixir will be rolling out to other major markets the beginning of next year with the opening of new stores in Los Angeles and the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas.
