El Torito, the pioneering, Southern California-based Mexican dining destination, announces the launch of a brand-new happy hour menu alongside a variety of limited time additions to their regular menu. Available now at all of El Torito’s 31 locations across California, these new menu items arrive just in time for football season and the holidays, giving diners every opportunity to celebrate with friends and family during the most festive time of year. 

New Happy Hour 

El Torito’s daily happy hour is one of their most signature offerings and a perennial favorite amongst Southern California diners looking for a celebratory and affordable dining experience perfect for special moments or everyday occasions. Available from 3 – 7 p.m. in the cantina of each restaurant*, the award-winning happy hour features over 25 different food and drink offerings starting from just $4. The newly-launched happy hour menu features numerous exciting additions never before available on El Torito’s menu, including $4 House Wine, $6 Potato Chorizo Taquitos, $8 Beef Birria Tacos and Watermelon Candy shots, and $10 Shrimp Tacos Gobernador, Margarita Flights, and a Spicy Piña Margarita featuring El Jimador, agave nectar, Ancho Reyes, pineapple & lime juice with a Tajin chili rim. The menu also features El Torito’s take on a Mexican Pizza, featuring chorizo, black beans & jack cheese on a crispy tortilla, topped with all the fixings, and drizzled with crema fresca. 

*Happy hour at Monterey, Dana Point, Marina del Rey, and Redondo Beach available Monday – Friday only. 

Limited Time Menu Offerings 

In addition to their new happy hour, El Torito is also unveiling a variety of special limited-time menu additions, available now through February 2023. The new menu features traditional dishes such as Albóndigas Soup and Beef Birria Tacos alongside innovative, seasonal items including a Pumpkin Bread Pudding and a Sunset Margarita—featuring El Jimador Silver Tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and topped with Line 39 Cabernet Sauvignon, served tableside. Also making its return on this limited time menu is El Torito’s wildly popular Tableside Fajita Salad, prepared tableside and served with their beloved Serrano-Grape Vinaigrette.
