Richard Sandoval’s vibrant Taqueria and Tequileria, El Centro D.F., located at 1818 14th Street, NW in Washington, D.C., is pleased to offer four nightly specials. El Centro kicks off the week of Mexican-inspired fun with Sangria Sundays, followed by Margarita Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Ladies Latin Night Thursdays, and International Fridays and Saturdays. These nightly specials begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Sangria Sundays provides the perfect opportunity to sip on four varieties of El Centro’s seasonal sangria, offered at half price from 5 p.m. to close. The list changes weekly and may include libations such as Melocoton Blanco, made from a combination of white wine, triple sec, peach schnapps, fresh peaches, orange juice, and cinnamon sticks or the Especias Pina, red wine with Pyrat XO Reserve spiced rum, triple sec, pineapple juice, lemon juice, oranges, and strawberries. The seasonal sangrias are priced at $13 for a full carafe, $7 for a half carafe and $3 per glass on Sunday evenings. Margarita Mondays features $4 margaritas from 5 p.m. to close. Current margarita flavors include the El Centro Margarita, Strawberry Margarita and the Mango Margarita. On Tuesday evenings, or Taco Tuesdays, guests can enjoy $2 tacos in the Taqueria, Tequileria, and on the expansive rooftop patio. Diners can select from three rotating chef’s choice tacos, including two from the restaurant’s menu, along with a special featured taco, which may include adventurous ingredients such as pig’s ear, stomach, tripe, or bull testicles. Thursday is Latin Night, featuring salsa, bachata, samba, and other Latin music from 11 p.m. to close. Ladies are encouraged to come early as they drink for free from 11 p.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday are International Night, featuring international music with a DJ and dancing, and no cover charge from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
