Eggs Up Grill is offering two new permanent menu items and an improved burger lineup in all 36 locations on Monday, November 18. Developed in the test kitchen and company restaurant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Shrimp and Grits Omelet and Baked Peaches and Cream Pancakes have been guest favorites since introduction, earning their way onto the menu in every location. In addition to the new items, the brand also improved its three signature burgers to feature two great-tasting, juicy steak burger patties and a soft brioche bun.

“We are constantly listening to our guests and franchise partners, always in search of better ways to better please our guests,” says Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. “Our test kitchen regularly assesses fan-favorite items and builds dishes that we believe will appeal to our guests’ taste buds. We launched these items in our company restaurant and immediately enjoyed strong sales and positive guest feedback. That’s when we knew we had menu winners that we should share with guests across all locations.”

The Shrimp and Grits Omelet includes an omelet made with fresh, hand-cracked eggs packed with shrimp, andouille sausage, green peppers, charred onions and Swiss cheese and served with fire-roasted tomato and spinach grits.

“This omelet is a true Southern staple with an Eggs Up Grill twist. Our grits are already perfectly prepared, but now have an added robustness and richness from the fire roasted tomato and sautéed spinach flavors. It’s served with a charred lemon that, once squeezed over the dish, brings it all together,” says Richardson.

The Baked Peaches and Cream Pancakes include two golden-brown buttermilk pancakes layered with caramelized peaches, topped with a dollop of sweet cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

“This item isn’t something you will find in other restaurant brands. It really tastes like peach cobbler, with the tartness of the fruit balancing the sweetness perfectly. With the cream cheese frosting, you won’t even need syrup,” adds Richardson.

The Shrimp and Grits Omelet, Baked Peaches and Cream Pancakes and the all-new burgers are just some of the new reasons that Eggs Up Grill is the neighborhood go-to dining spot for so many guests. In addition, the brand’s focus on serving as a friendly locale for the surrounding community means that from the moment guests enter, they are greeted by smiling team members, the sizzle of fresh bacon and the aroma of hot-from-the-griddle pancakes. The menu features feel-good favorites ranging from signature omelets, piled-high breakfast sandwiches and great tasting lunch offers. With catering and take-out options, guests are able to enjoy Eggs Up Grill fare outside of the location’s four walls. In short, the breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant concept has everything to make guests smile.
