Centennial, Colorado-based The Egg & I Restaurants will open its second North Carolina Restaurant on August 31. The restaurant opens at 6 a.m. and is located at 1104 Ledsome Lane on Walnut Street off US 1, in Cary, North Carolina.
On August 30, the restaurant will donate 100 percent of all proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to The Carying Place.
For over 20 years, The Carying Place has been helping families help themselves. Their unique program offers a homeless, working family the opportunity to get off the street into a safe and secure home for their family and to learn how to rebuild their lives.
“The entire Carying Place family is excited about its new partnership with The Egg & I. It is another great example of a local business supporting our community. We appreciate the commitment of the entire The Egg & I operation to help us make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community,” says Allen Reep, chief executive officer of The Carying Place. “We are very excited about this event supporting The Carying Place and about our new restaurant opening. Cary has already welcomed us with open arms and we can’t wait to become more involved in our new community,” adds Scott Harvey, general manager of the newest The Egg & I Restaurant. “We are also very pleased our restaurant is creating 45 new jobs in Cary.”
“The opening of our 116th restaurant nationally is a significant accomplishment for all of us at The Egg & I Restaurants. I want to thank our entire team for their dedication and tireless efforts to ensure we deliver an exceptional guest experience every day in every restaurant,” continues Don Lamb, president and chief executive officer for The Egg & I Restaurants. “We are very excited to bring our award-winning breakfast and lunch entrees to our newest restaurant in the Cary community.”
