Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, a premier AAA Four Diamond luxury inn and golf club located on the campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, will host the Fullsteam Beer Dinner featuring selections from the beloved hometown brewery on Tuesday, April 17 at 6:45 p.m., helping beer connoisseurs and their taste buds hop into the spring spirit.
Craft beer enthusiasts are invited to join Executive Chef Jason Cunningham for a delightfully created multi-course menu composed of locally sourced southern dishes complemented by the evening’s distinctly southern craft beer pairings from Fullsteam Brewing. The thoughtfully paired menu and flights of Fullsteam brews are guaranteed to give your taste buds a punch of savory deliciousness.
Based in Durham, Fullsteam brews distinctly Southern beer that fosters agricultural pride and prosperity in a post-tobacco North Carolina. No stranger to the area, Fullsteam buys local to brew local and aims to improve the quality of life of local farmers, foragers and agricultural entrepreneurs. Fullsteam produces southern-sourced classics, progressive beers with an eye toward the future, beers that celebrate season harvests and experimental beers from the farm’s edge, all of which contain at least 10 percent local ingredients by weight.
The Fullsteam Beer Dinner is hosted by the Fairview Dining Room, a AAA Four Diamond rated restaurant, and costs $65 per person, or $54 for Executive Club members, which includes the Fullsteam brew pairings. The event will take place on the Fairview Patio, weather permitting.
