The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club will host "A Day at the Derby" on May 4 to celebrate the 139th Kentucky Derby. The Fairview Dining Room and Bull Durham Bar will broadcast the early show coverage, race, and post show coverage on big screens. Drink specials will include cocktail favorites from the three major horse races: mint juleps (Kentucky Derby), black-eyed Susan (Preakness), and white carnation (Belmont Stakes). Events begin at 11 a.m. with the start of Derby TV coverage and continues until midnight with Derby Day brunch and afternoon tea, Dashing Derby hat contest, and a Derby Day dinner.
