Boston is the first city in the country to have two Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses. The Texas–based restaurant group gets ready opened its second location in the historic Back Bay neighborhood on July 18. The first Boston Double Eagle, located on the waterfront in the Seaport neighborhood and opened in 2011.

“We are thrilled to be opening our second Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Boston’s historic Back Bay Neighborhood. Since opening our doors in the Seaport in 2011, we have seen tremendous response from the community, who have joined us in celebrating life in our restaurant through great food, wine and hospitality,”says Norman Abdallah, CEO of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group. “As we continue to expand, Boston was an ideal market to be the first to house two Double Eagles. The Seaport and Back Bay trade areas are separate and unique, offering compelling and distinct sales generation opportunities. In addition to the Back Bay’s own convention center, the restaurant is connected to 3.8 million square feet of office space, 3,500 hotel rooms, and 875 luxury residences.”

The new Double Eagle, designed by Aria Group Architects, features dramatic storefront windows, warm wood finishes with stone accents, and pewter and copper metals. The 17,603 square foot restaurant will offer interior seating for 450 and patio seating for 32. The restaurant also has seven unique spaces for private and semi-private dining events, offering a range of experiences, from an intimate evening for 10 guests to a custom private celebration for up to 200.

A feature of the Double Eagle is our award-winning wine lists. With 12 temperature- and humidity-controlled wine cellars holding more than 12,500 bottles from over 2,000 selections around the world, Double Eagle is sure to become Back Bay’s newest wine destination.

“We are looking forward to being part of the Back Bay community and bringing an unparalleled dining experience to the historic and vibrant neighborhood,” says Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse general manager Zeke Josma.
