Del Frisco's Restaurant Group Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its newest Del Frisco's Grille in Plano, Texas. The new location in the Shops of Legacy opened on Friday, June 19. This marks the 18th Del Frisco's Grille across the country, and the 47th restaurant overall for Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, which also owns and operates 11 Del Frisco Double Eagle and 18 Sullivan's Steakhouse locations. "We see great opportunity for our Grille concept to expand our presence in Texas and we are excited with our new Plano location," says Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group. "The restaurant's vibrant interior, with great views and a lively bar, coupled with the unique two story patio doors makes the Plano Grille a great destination for dining and socializing. The newest Del Frisco's Grille in Plano presents the concept's signature flavors and market-fresh ingredients showcased in updated American classics for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. The inviting and modern 7,723 square foot interior features a presentation kitchen, a private dining room for 20 with floor-to-ceiling street views, a downstairs main bar that seats 41, a communal table that seats 10, a lofted-style indoor patio that seats 24, and a total guest capacity of 254 people.
Leading the culinary team at Del Frisco's Grille in Plano is executive chef Brian Sorley. The new Grille features a tempting Sunday brunch menu including Bananas Foster French Toast, The Grille Benedict, and Red Velvet Belgian Waffle. In addition to a variety of prime steaks, fans of the Grille will delight in signature favorites such as Prime Beef Stroganoff, Simply Roasted Chicken, Roasted Corn Bisque, Sole Francese, and Prime Grille Cheeseburger, as well as popular appetizers including House Baked Pretzels, Ahi Tacos, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Guacamole, and Spicy Pork Meatball Flatbread. Del Frisco's Grille also offers great tasting salad offerings including the kale and quinoa salad and a variety of gluten-free options.
The Grille is known for its extensive cocktail list and the Plano location offers drinks including The Dutch Mule, Youth Serum, Apt 5D, Skinny Cosmo, Honey Badger, and the Adult Milkshake. The restaurant's beverage offerings also include a toast-worthy selection of wine, and the Plano location includes more than 250 regional and global vintages. Also, beer fans can enjoy local craft beers on tap such as Rahr Ugly Pug, Shannon Irish Red, and Four Corners El Chingo.
