Crown Brands, LLC announced it has acquired the Foodservice Dinnerware, Flatware and Crystal Glass operations of The Oneida Group, effective immediately.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome the Foodservice Dinnerware, Flatware and Crystal Glass units of The Oneida Group to Crown Brands, LLC. The brands and product categories associated with this acquisition align with our long-term strategic plan to offer the highest quality, most comprehensive product portfolio to satisfy operator needs in the Front of the House, Kitchen/Food Preparation areas and the Back of the House from a single source,” says Tony Battaglia, Chief Executive Officer of Crown Brands, LLC.

“The Oneida foodservice portfolio gives us an iconic brand and a significant table-top portfolio to augment our current Front of the House offering,” says John Schroeder, Executive Vice-President of Crown Brands, LLC.  “This acquisition deepens our relevance within the industry and introduces the full Crown portfolio into areas that were not available to us prior.  When combining Oneida with Crown’s core brands of Update, Focus Foodservice, Tomlinson, Co-Rect barware and Johnson-Rose we are able to provide our partners with solutions across a wide spectrum of categories of product shipping from one location that makes us a truly unique partner in the industry.”

The acquisition of The Oneida Group represents the second addition to Crown Brands, LLC since October 2018, when the company acquired the manufacturing and distribution operations of Tomlinson Industries of Cleveland, Ohio.  Crown Brands, LLC was formed in 2014 with the acquisitions of Focus Foodservice, LLC, Johnson-Rose Corporation and Update International.  Co-Rect Products, Inc. was acquired by the company in 2015.
