Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, the premier AAA Four Diamond luxury inn and golf club located on the campus of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, will host an Old Forester Bourbon Dinner featuring selections from the world-renowned distillery on Tuesday, March 6 at 6:45 p.m., putting this Kentucky favorite to the ultimate taste test.
Craft bourbon enthusiasts are invited to join Executive Chef Jason Cunningham for a masterfully created multi-course menu composed of savory dishes complemented by the evening’s dynamic bourbon pairings from Old Forester. The thoughtfully paired menu and flights of Old Forester are guaranteed to have your taste buds singing.
Old Forester is the first bourbon that was sold by the bottle in the United States. No stranger to the bourbon distilling business, Old Forester has used a time-honored and unique process to develop its full bodied, robust Kentucky Straight Bourbon, for more than a century. Old Forester produces nine signature options, making for the perfect cocktail recipes for all occasions.
The Old Forester Bourbon Dinner is hosted by the Fairview Dining Room, a AAA Four Diamond rated restaurant, and costs $79 per person, or $69 for Executive Club members, which includes the bourbon pairings. The event will take place in the Fairview Dining Room.
