City Tap Nashville, the gastropub that serves as a popular watering hole for lovers of craft beer, welcomes attendees of the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) to the Music City with four exciting days of programming and specials. From Monday, April 30, through Thursday, May 3, City Tap Nashville will partner with some of the country’s premier brewing companies to present pop-ups, tap takeovers, and late night happy hours celebrating all things beer.

Bell’s Eccentric Café Pop-Up—Monday, April 30 at 10:30am

City Tap Nashville is bringing the atmosphere of Bell’s Brewery’s iconic Eccentric Café in Kalamazoo, Michigan over to Nashville, installing an all-day pop-up to replicate the quirky hangout complete with eclectic art, funky music, and signature café menu items like amber ale battered onion rings, pulled pork sandwich, and brisket dip. Bell’s will also take over 20 of City Tap’s draft lines with some of their most beloved brews for $6 to $10.

A Taste of New England—Tuesday, May 1 at 10:30 am

Kicking off at 10:30am, City Tap Nashville will celebrate Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts breweries with an all-day collaboration featuring over 40 brews. For $6 to $10, enjoy an extensive variety of New England beers including ones poured for the first time ever in Tennessee like Switchback Brewing, 14th Star Brewing, Jack’s Abby & Lawson’s Finest. Executive Chef Ashley Grim has created New England style dishes such as classic clam chowder, served in an old school bread bowl, lobster roll, baked oysters Kennedy, and lobster pot pie, to complement the brews.

Ballast Point Taco Takeover—Wednesday, May 2 at 10:30 am

Join City Tap Nashville for a Ballast Point Taco Takeover during lunch on Wednesday, May 2, from 11am to 4pm. Enjoy a variety of Ballast Point beers to perfectly pair with dishes such as the loco pez with Ballast Point battered crispy haddock, lime and cilantro gribiche, melon salsa, and shaved cabbage; the camaron borracho with Veracruz style tequila marinated shrimp, creamy elote salsa, avocado, pickled onion, and shaved cabbage; the carne asada with Ballast Point marinated hanger steak, chihuahua and cotija cheeses, pickled red onion, salsa verde, and charred scallion; and the grilled halloumi and potato with quick grilled halloumi cheese, crispy potato confit, minced onion, roasted tomato, truffled mustard sauce and cilantro.

Late Night Beer, Dogfish Head Style—Wednesday, May 2 at 9pm

What conference is complete without Karaoke? City Tap will be looking to keep the party going on Wednesday with Dogfish Head Brewery. Enjoy live band ‘80s karaoke, Bueller, while enjoying a class off-centered beer lineup including the new Flaming Lips collaboration Dragons & YumYums. Guests can enter a raffle to win a custom Dogfish Head record player. Watching brewery celebrities struggle thru 80’s classics Take on Me and Ghostbusters is fun not to be missed.
