Citra Vini, an association of unified wineries in Abruzzo established in 1973, is proud to announce the launch of Niro, a new line of premium wines. The launch serves to introduce two new wines to the US market, Niro Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and Niro Pecorino d’Abruzzo. The wines are distributed by Palm Bay International (PBI) and will be available nationwide from June 2017.

To support the launch on Citra Vini’s behalf, PBI has partnered with Wine Awesomeness to initiate a strategic marketing campaign that utilizes a combination of market research, editorial content, direct-to-consumer marketing and wine delivery, event support, and inclusion in popular daily newsletter Skimm.

Citra Vini has opened a brand-new website at www.citravini.com to further support the launch of the wines. The website will serve as an information gateway for the Niro wines, the unique and historic region of Abruzzo, as well as providing information on Caroso Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva—an already established premium offering from Citra Vini.

Citra Vini will host a launch event in July 2017 to introduce the wines directly to consumers and to educate them about the unique wine growing conditions of Abruzzo. Details will be announced at a later date.
