Chuck Lager America’s Tavern is continuing its nationwide expansion. The growing restaurant brand is now doubling the number of corporate locations and tripling the number of franchise locations with the addition of a new corporate locale in Chicagoland and new franchises in Orlando, Tampa, Sarasota, Naples and Key West.

Co-created by celebrity chef Fabio Viviani, Chuck Lager, Craig Colby & Michael Colby, the concept is centered around the idea that life’s best stories take shape over delicious food and a couple of drinks.  While the restaurant’s menu is decidedly American, guests delight in the use of unexpected, elevated ingredients and a sprinkling of international influence, thanks to Chef Fabio Viviani.  While offerings vary among locations, signature dishes like the Mt. Kilimanjaro Burger (Double Premium Beef Patty, Beer Cheese, Thick Cut Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Arugula, Garlic Aioli,) and the Tuna Poke Nachos (Crispy Wontons, Tuna, Cusabi, Teriyaki, Avocado, Scallions, Pickled Jalapenos, Sesame Seeds,) keep guests coming back time and time again,

The food menu is complemented by an impressive beverage program, which is anchored by craft cocktails, bourbons and whiskies and rounded out by wines (by the glass & bottle) and draft beers.

Chuck Lager is open for Lunch, Dinner, Happy Hour and, in some locations, Weekend Brunch.

The new Chuck Lager locations, which are set to open in late 2022 and early 2023, will join three existing stores in Illinois, Florida and Delaware.

Among the brand’s newest franchisees are former President of Red Robin, Eric Houseman, and former Vice President of Franchise Operations for Red Robin, Brad Clawson.  Houseman and Clawson have signed on to build 10 Chuck Lager locations along the east coast of Florida, stretching from Palm County all the way down to Key West.

“We are excited to have Eric Houseman and Brad Clawson as part of the Chuck Lager family,” says co-founder Chuck Lager.  “Their east coast Florida territory, extending from Palm County to Monroe County includes some of my favorite watering holes in Key West, where I shared stories with a cantankerous friend known for tipping back mojitos and writing classic novels about bullfighting and war. Many of these watering holes influenced what is today Chuck Lager America’s Tavern.”

Chuck Lager’s newest company location in Orland Park, IL (14035 South La Grange Rd.) is scheduled to open at the end of this month.
