Chicken N Pickle, the unique, indoor/outdoor entertainment complex including a casual, chef-driven restaurant and sports bar, pickleball courts and a variety of yard games, has announced locations in Allen, TX, Webster, TX and Henderson, NV opening in late 2023.

Chicken N Pickle originally began in Kansas City, MO in 2016, where its headquarters remain. It has become a wildly popular destination for families, young adults and corporate gatherings. The company expanded to Wichita, KS in 2019 and San Antonio, TX in 2020. In 2021, Chicken N Pickle opened in Oklahoma City, OK, Overland Park, KS and Grand Prairie, TX. Its Grapevine, TX, Glendale, AZ and St. Charles, MO locations will follow in 2023.

“Our mission is to provide an atmosphere that fosters fun, friendship, and community and we are excited to bring that to more cities,” says Dave Johnson, Founder of Chicken N Pickle. “We believe that bringing people together over a delicious, wood-fired rotisserie chicken, a cold beverage and some friendly competition can create unifying bonds that ripple throughout the community and beyond.”

The three newly announced properties feature a main dining area spacious enough for corporate and social events, from lunch meetings to large rehearsal dinners and team building events. Each property will be equipped with multiple bars, bier gardens, dining areas on two floors and a rooftop dining experience, along with outdoor tables for guests to enjoy. These venues will also feature numerous indoor and outdoor pickleball courts and a variety of lawn games.

Using responsibly raised, antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken, the menu includes delicious, rotisserie dishes available in four seasonings along with pork and beef sandwiches and their signature hand-cut fries and tots.

ALLEN, TX

Chicken N Pickle joins The Farm, a 135-acre mixed-use destination developed by JaRyCo. Located on the south side of SH-121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Road, 25 miles north of Dallas, Chicken N Pickle will join other entertainment venues including High 5 and The Hub in the award-winning development.

“Two years ago when I first heard Chicken N Pickle was coming to DFW, I told our team at Venture Commercial that we need to bring this to Allen and The Farm,” says Bruce Heller, President of JaRyCo. “We have been working ever since to make it happen and are glad it worked out. Chicken N Pickle will be great for The Farm and great for the residents of Allen and surrounding communities.”

WEBSTER, TX

Positioned midway between downtown Houston and Galveston along I-45 in Webster’s southeast quadrant, Chicken N Pickle will open in Flyway’s 80-acre destination development.

“The City of Webster is thrilled to have Chicken N Pickle announce its plans to open in Flyway,” says Mayor Donna Rogers, “as Chicken N Pickle’s exciting, unique, indoor and outdoor pickleball-focused entertainment and dining venue fits perfectly with Flyway’s vision that fuses the indoors with the outdoor experience in bold, new ways with best-in-class operators, like Great Wolf Lodge. As Chicken N Pickle delivers a high energy, fun-filled entertainment and dining experience that promotes the fastest growing sport in America, the City of Webster welcomes this premier venue to Flyway.”

HENDERSON, NV

Coming to the corner of St. Rose and Maryland Parkways, Chicken N Pickle’s three-acre, multi-level property will feature all the food and fun found at other sites, with the addition of a dog park.

“We are thrilled Chicken N Pickle will soon call Henderson home,” said Richard Derrick, Henderson City Manager. “Not only will Chicken N Pickle offer a fun place for families and friends to gather, but it will also create additional jobs and reoccurring tax revenue that will continue to vitalize our economy.”

Chicken N Pickle’s cultural imperative to the community is to give back, with many philanthropic events and service oriented endeavors to strengthen its neighborhood and beyond.  In 2021, through their four locations, Chicken N Pickle supported over 1,000 charitable organizations and donated over $70,000 to local nonprofits through their green cup campaign.

“One of our key tenets is to give back to the communities we serve,” says Kelli Alldredge, Vice President of Engagement at Chicken N Pickle. “We say ‘our hearts are local’ because we support our communities through philanthropy and through our business practices. We are thrilled to become a part of these three communities and begin supporting the neighborhoods around us.”

The Chicken N Pickle Foundation was formed in 2020 and works in partnership with local health, wellness and relationship-building charitable organizations to build long-lasting solutions to address the needs of the community. In the last year, the Foundation has provided each store with $6,000 for the employees to identify and support nonprofit organizations in their area.
