Bistronomic, the contemporary bistro rooted in French culture in Chicago’s Gold Coast, will offer brunch and a special three-course, prix fixe menu on Christmas Eve (10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 5 to 10 p.m.) and a special three-course, prix fixe menu Christmas Day (noon to 8 p.m.)

The dinner menu on both evenings is $70 per person and a two-course children’s menu is available for $20, exclusive of tax and gratuity. For the first course, diners can select from options including the Cauliflower Veloute with glazed chestnut, Everton cheese, truffle oil and brown butter; House Cured Steelhead Salmon with potato salad, pickled red onion, shaved watermelon radish and citrus caviar crème fraîche; and Homemade Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Maine lobster, baby broccoli, star anise and tarragon lobster emulsion.

Second course options include Roasted Rack of Lamb with apricot puree, Israeli couscous, Moroccan spices, preserved lemon, dried fruit and ginger sauce; Medley of Winter Vegetables with Brussel sprouts, Nichols Farm root vegetables, winter squash puree and fines herbs; and Beef Tenderloin Au Poivre with Brussel sprouts, bacon lardon, pomme puree and cognac sauce.

For the third course, patrons may indulge in desserts including Lemon Tart with Linzer dough, meringue and orange grand marnier sauce; Baked Alaska with poached pear, brioche and bittersweet chocolate sauce; and Chocolate Hazelnut Bars with praline, espresso and vanilla crème anglaise.
