Bucksbaum Retail Properties LLC and Structured Development LLC, developers of Chicago's New City mixed-use project, announce that Earls Kitchen + Bar will join ArcLight Cinemas and Mariano's Fresh Market as New City's first retail and entertainment tenants.

New City will be a lively "neighborhood within a neighborhood" on an 8.5-acre site, combining a unique retail mix with stylish residential living. The 380,000 square feet of retail space will feature an upscale grocer and first-to-market entertainment and restaurant concepts. Additionally, New City will offer a beautiful, one-acre landscaped plaza; pedestrian-friendly sidewalks and 1,100 parking spaces. The 200 rental unit residential tower will have 16 levels with floor plans for every lifestyle, offering city living in a vibrant community.

"We love Chicago! The food scene, the entertainment scene and the people!  The New City area is the perfect demographic for us. We look forward to sharing our premium casual style with the people of Lincoln Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. The location of our restaurant at New City really feels like we are part of a neighborhood, and as a family owned restaurant, we love that," says Stan Earl Fuller, CEO of Earls Kitchen + Bar.

Earls Kitchen + Bar is a unique restaurant concept that marries fresh, made from scratch, often local ingredient driven interesting menus, and irresistible food with beautifully designed full service dining rooms paired alongside fun, lively lounges and bars.

Each restaurant is designed uniquely for the location and region it's located in. Menus offer dishes they are famous for having 10–20 percent of the menu varied to allow for regional and demographic tastes, as well as local products and suppliers. Earls Kitchen + Bar is one of North America's most successful independent restaurant groups. Earls currently operates 65 restaurants – 61 of those in Canada and 5 in the United States (Denver, Colorado; Bellevue, Washington; and Miami). New City will mark the first Midwest location for Earls.
