Social Monk Asian Kitchen, a new fast-casual concept offering made-to-order Asian dishes with fresh ingredients, exotic spices and bold flavors, today announced the opening of its first restaurant location in Westlake Village, California.

Developed by the creators of RockSugar Southeast Asian Kitchen, Social Monk’s menu spans across several Asian countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and China. Chef Mohan Ismail developed the affordable, approachable menu that features made-to-order Asian starters, salads, sandwiches, rice and noodle bowls, classic entrées, noodles, and sides. The restaurant also serves beer and wine. Orders are placed at the counter, which is the centerpiece of the bright, modern dining room adjacent to a large patio offering outdoor dining.

Social Monk Asian Kitchen is located in The Promenade at Westlake at 4000 East Thousand Oaks Blvd., Space C1, Westlake Village, California. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
