Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, a full-service casual dining restaurant, will officially open the doors to its new Lake Worth location at 6700 NW Loop 820 Freeway February 20, that features an open kitchen, carry out entrance, and contemporary design elements. The updated restaurant layout is over 7,000 square feet, seats approximately 255 Guests and features a scratch-made menu, including favorites like hand-battered onion rings, house-smoked baby back ribs, savory Santa Fe Spinach Dip and Cheddar’s Legendary Monster Cookie.

“We are thrilled to open our doors and bring our scratch-made experience to the people of Lake Worth and the surrounding area,” says Todd Creekmur, general manager, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Lake Worth. “Our new restaurant will bring approximately 200 jobs to the community, something we take great pride in. Our Team Members are at the forefront of our business, and work tirelessly to ensure our guests have the best scratch dining experience.”

Todd was selected as general manager of Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Lake Worth. “We are honored to have someone with Todd’s knowledge and experience lead our Lake Worth team,” says Ian Baines, president and CEO of Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen. “Todd comes to us with over 25 years of hospitality management experience. Our Guests will appreciate Todd’s passion for good food and the quality experience they will have at our new Cheddar’s location.”

The Lake Worth location features a new scratch kitchen that spans over 3,500 square feet, is staffed by twice the number of cooks working in most restaurant kitchens, and is open for guests to see their meals being prepared from scratch. This spacious workshop is the heart of the restaurant where the true craftsmanship of scratch cooking comes to life as individual meals are prepared for each guest’s enjoyment.

Each Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, led by Chef Robert Pesch, showcases an endless passion for culinary innovation and excellence. Whether it’s early morning preparation to smoke savory ribs for a minimum of four hours, or individually crafting each homemade chicken pot pie, the Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen team has the culinary expertise to skillfully prepare scratch-made meals that makes each guest feel valued.

In addition to the new kitchen, Guests will also enjoy new contemporary design elements with modern décor, a flexible restaurant layout, and improved sound attenuation—all of which will enhance the in-restaurant experience and decrease wait times. Also, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Lake Worth offers a convenient Carry Out entrance, waiting area and parking for those Guests who prefer a scratch-made meal in their own home.

The location is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
