In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Chandler’s Crabhouse is thanking fans with the launch of its 25 Cent Happy Hours and more than $3,000 worth of giveaways. In honor of its silver anniversary, the lakeside restaurant will offer 25 happy hours featuring 25-cent appetizers and drinks for less than $2.50 from mid-July until the end of the year in addition to its regularly scheduled happy hours.

“We’re throwing our biggest celebration in 25 years and are excited to enjoy this milestone with the friends and customers who have supported us for all these years,” says Lindsey Schwartz, president and CEO of Schwartz Brothers Restaurants. “The weather is warming up, construction on Mercer is coming to a close, and Chandler’s Crabhouse is offering our best happy hour prices yet. It’s shaping up to be a great summer.”

Announced exclusively through the Chandler’s Crabhouse Facebook page, the 25-cent happy hours will occur at random throughout the year. Guests must “Like” the page and show their phones to a server to receive 25th anniversary pricing, including 25-cent specials on Dungeness Crab and Artichoke Dip, Hand-Rolled Salmon Roll, Seared Ahi Tuna, Blue Beef, Ahi Tuna Tartare, and Ceviche.

At the culmination of the happy hour promotion, the ten attendees who attended the most 25-cent happy hours will be entered into a drawing for one of the following:

  • One grand prize finisher will win a private cocktail party at Chandler’s Crabhouse for 25 people
  • One second prize winner will receive a $250 Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gift card
  • Three third prize winners will each receive a $100 Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gift card

In addition, each participant who attends any of the promotional happy hours may enter to win one of five $25 Schwartz Brothers Restaurants gift cards. Each happy hour attendee will receive a stamp card to track their happy hour visits and must return their stamp cards to Chandler’s Crabhouse between January 1 and 10, 2014 to be eligible for the drawings. Winners will be announced through social media in January.

Chandler’s Crabhouse, located at 901 Fairview Avenue North on the shores of Lake Union, is famous for serving Dungeness crab found locally in the cold, deep waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and caught in handset pots. Chef Kevin Rohr delicately prepares the top five percent of Dungeness crab available into menu options that highlight the bounty of northwest seafood, including the “World’s Best” Crab Cake, Whiskey Dungeness Crab Soup, Grilled Alaskan Weathervane Scallops and the Chandler’s Crab Platter with a whole steamed Dungeness Crab, two King crab legs, Bairdi crab clusters, grilled asparagus and orzo salad. Chandler’s Raw Bar offers a selection of the freshest available oysters, seafood charcuterie, ceviche, and tuna tartare.
