Casa del Mar Serves New Menus for dineLA 2012

For dineLA this January, Casa del Mar has put together both a lunch and dinner menu featuring many delectable dishes as part of a three-course meal.

Guests are invited to visit Catch Restaurant during dineLA from Jan. 22-27 and Jan. 29-Feb. 3, 2012.

Guests of Catch Restaurant at Casa del Mar can order from a $28 lunch menu which includes appetizers such as Turkey Meatball Soup with Tuscan Kale and Butternut Squash and Flatbread, Asparagus, Wild Mushrooms, and Farmstead Goat Cheese.

Entrees available include Tuna Niçoise, Tomatoes, Fennel, Olives, Green Beans, Potatoes, and Hard Egg; Asian Chicken Salad made with Napa Cabbage, Radicchio, Shitake, and Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette as well as desserts such as a Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart served with Espresso Meringue and Coffee Ice Cream or Yogurt Panna Cotta with Cherries and Hazelnut Biscotti.

The $44 dinner menu features several appetizers such as Rosemary Flatbread with Prosciutto, Goat Cheese Ricotta, Dried Figs, and Arugula and a Dungeness Crab Salad with Avocado, Crispy Ginger, and Lemon Vinaigrette.

Entrees include Scottish Salmon with Leek Fondue, Chanterelles, and Preserved Lemon; Filet Mignon with Fingerling Potatoes and Garlic Spinach; and Parmesan Gnocchi with Maine Lobster, Basil, and Tomato Fondue.

Several desserts are offered as well and guests can choose from Pineapple Upside Down with Rum Caramel and Toasted Almond Ice Cream or Organic Chocolate Truffle Cake with Salted Caramel and Hazelnut Gelato.

Casa del Mar opened in 1926 as the grandest of the opulent beach clubs.  A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Hotel Casa del Mar is located at 1910 Ocean Way in Santa Monica, California, adjacent to the historic Santa Monica Pier.
