Carino's Italian in Joplin, Missouri, marks the one-year anniversary of the devastating tornado that hit the community by honoring its residents with a buy-one, get-one-free entrée May 22. Additionally, Carino's will be delivering free lunch to various civic and charitable organizations in the community starting May 21.

Carino's in Joplin is located at 137 North Range Line Road.

"We are honored to be a part of the Joplin community and its rebuilding efforts since the tornado hit last year," says Creed Ford III, CEO of Carino's Italian. "We are proud of our Joplin team members, many of whom were affected personally by the tornado, and thankful for all our guests who have continued to visit our Joplin location."

The buy-one, get-one-free entrée is available to everyone all day on May 22 during hours of operation from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Carino's is also bringing free lunch to the following groups starting Monday, May 21: Joplin Police Department, Joplin Fire Department, Freeman Hospital, St. John's Medical Center, and Empire Electric.

Since the tornado hit last year, Carino's in Joplin and its team members have been involved in various community efforts to help rebuild the city. Fortunately, it was not damaged from the devastating tornado and was able to provide food and drink immediately to those in need. Carino's also made a financial contribution to the American Red Cross.
