The Captain’s Boil has officially cast an anchor and is inviting Atlantans aboard at the seafood restaurant’s very first U.S. location, now open for business at Cumberland Mall. With three more locations in the Greater Atlanta area set to open in the coming months, The Captain’s Boil has all hands on deck as it prepares to welcome Georgians to indulge in their soon-to-be favorite seafood stop in the city.

With more than 20 massively popular locations throughout Canada, The Captain’s Boil has finally sailed to warmer waters in the southern US to show Atlantans what their award-winning seafood is all about. Their unique offerings are inspired by traditional cajun seafood boils, with a combination of Asian and southern influences, that are similarly made for a crowd and invite guests to connect over grand portions of fresh seafood and traditional sides.

“We can’t believe the time has finally come to give Atlanta a taste of the seafood we’ve known and loved for quite some time,” says Eugene Chan, CEO of The Captain’s Boil. “We’re proud to offer our authentically delicious seafood and sides to the greater metro area.”

The modern-casual seafood joint presents a customizable menu that allows guests to get creative and tailor their experience to their unique tastes. The menu offers nine mouthwatering catches to choose from including shrimp, crab legs, lobster, mussels, clams, and crawfish that are generously doused in one of four flavors including garlic, lemon pepper, Cajun or a signature house sauce combining all three. Atlantans are no strangers to spicy food, and The Captain’s Boil allows them to select their spice level on a scale from one to four. Finish off with picks from the mouthwatering selection of down-home add-ons like corn, sausage, potatoes, Cajun fries, and okra, as well as a choice of ten unique dipping sauces that bring everything together. For the hungriest of crews, the “shareables” menu includes starters like seafood fried rice, calamari, fresh oysters, a heaping shrimp basket and several more options that are sure to satisfy the whole table. Guests can dive into the traditional boil presentation with all the necessities including The Captain’s Boil gloves, bibs and scissors.

After its brilliant success in Canada, The Captain’s Boil has officially opened for business at their Cumberland Mall location and will soon set sail in Woodstock, Lawrenceville, and Sandy Springs. Though doors are open, The Captain’s Boil will host an official grand opening celebration in the new year complete with live music, face painting, giveaways, free samples, and other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. The grand opening event will take place at the Cumberland Mall location on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

“We have dedicated a great amount of thought and time into our US locations and are eager to see it all come to life,” adds Chan.
