Located in the heart of downtown Tampa, The Pearl at Water Street is now open. The Pearl, a Cameron Mitchell Restaurant, combines restaurant, tavern, and oyster room featuring chef-driven cuisine with made-from-scratch entrees, fresh seafood, seasonal oysters, and an extensive beverage menu that will serve lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
At the restaurant’s helm will be Olivia Giesler, Executive Chef, and Alex Schultz, General Manager. Olivia and Alex have extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Both are joining The Pearl after distinguished fine dining careers within Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, the same company behind the launch of The Pearl and other beloved restaurants, including Ocean Prime. Ocean Prime has been a Tampa favorite for fourteen years, becoming the top Ocean Prime location with a dedicated client base year after year.

The Pearl is the third location of this concept introduced by Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. Celebrating ten years of the concept, the restaurant group first opened The Pearl in the Short North Arts District in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012, then opened a second location in Dublin, Ohio, in 2020.
“We have two locations of The Pearl in Columbus that are very successful and started to think about expansion. Our Ocean Prime in Tampa is #1 in sales out of 17 locations nationwide, so Tampa was a logical step, and Water Street is an ideal location for The Pearl.
