Bush’s Beans Play Well with Kids’ Menus

Bush’s Best Beans have been around for over 100 years. While you may already be using them in your kitchen, new government regulations regarding kids’ cuisine may inspire you to bring more of this nutrient-packed vegetable to your menu.

Bush’s new low sodium lineup makes it easier for meals to stay within the guidelines.

In the National Restaurant Association’s What’s Hot in 2013 survey, 78 percent of 1,800 chefs ranked healthful kids’ meals as a hot trend, while 77 percent voted children’s nutrition as a hot topic.

Bush’s Best are nutrient-rich, low in calories, low in fat and cholesterol-free. The low cost makes making these healthy changes easier on a restaurant’s budget.

Bush’s has released several kid-friendly recipes incorporating the new beans including Pinto Cheeseburger Sliders, Beans and Greens Pasta, and Mini Baked Nachos. All recipes are available on Bush’s website http://bushbeansfoodservice.com/kid-friendly/
