The decision to build the site in a responsive manner came as a result of significant data supporting the growth of mobile and tablet web searches. According to The New Multi-Screen World study conducted by Google in 2012, smartphones are the most common starting place for online activities. This can create a gap in user experience when websites are difficult to navigate on mobile devices.
