Brunswick’s, a new upscale bowling and entertainment center complete with the full-service Tavern ’45 restaurant, will open its first two locations this summer in Marietta and Norcross, Georgia. Offering active fun in a contemporary environment, Brunswick’s will cater to adults with its innovative culinary offerings, local craft beer, and warm décor. The Marietta location will open in mid-June on Delk Road, and the Norcross location will open in mid-July on Spalding Drive.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the new Brunswick’s concept to the Atlanta area,” says Jim Fox, president of Brunswick Bowling Retail. “We designed a place where guests will want to socialize and connect with family and friends through group activities while enjoying great food, craft beer and exceptional service.”

The two 40,000-square-foot locations feature completely remodeled interiors with upgraded bowling equipment and inviting décor designed to encourage socialization and connection. Chipman Design Architecture was commissioned by Brunswick’s to realize its vision for the next evolution in bowling, which includes plush furnishings and mood lighting to create an enhanced ambiance. The Norcross location will also feature a lofted bar area situated in the middle of the lanes, offering a unique perspective of the action, as well as an outdoor patio.

In addition to an enhanced bowling experience, guests can enjoy innovative cuisine from Tavern ’45, developed through a partnership with Trifecta Management Group and Brunswick Bowling Food and Beverage director John Pullis. Pullis brings more than 26 years of experience in developing concepts, menus, and recipes for restaurants across the country, including the acclaimed Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. Trifecta Management Group has extensive experience in strategic menu development in both traditional restaurants and within entertainment environments. TMG recently developed and is operating the highly acclaimed Mestizo restaurant concept with Food Network chef Aaron Sanchez and has created menu concepts at more than 25 leading restaurant and entertainment venues including the new menu at the House of Blues’ Crossroads restaurant.

The menu at Tavern ’45 is crafted around distinctive American pub fare with a focus on unique, quality ingredients. Perfect for sharing, small plates include the signature chicken & white bean chili and Vietnamese pork belly tacos as well as arugula and goat cheese salad. Entrees include Thai red curry chicken hand-stretched pizza, Tavern ’45 mac and cheese with a potato chip crust, grilled wild salmon with herb butter and mango salsa and a variety of burgers and panini sandwiches. Completing the culinary experience, Tavern ’45 will offer a full bar with a focus on local craft beer including Sweetwater, Terrapin, Monday Night, Red Brick, Mother Earth, and Lazy Magnolia. Beer enthusiasts can enjoy multiple flavors with flights of any four drafts. In addition, guests can sip on cocktails such as the “Bootlegger’s Choice” with Crown Royal, Cointreau, cherry bitters, and lemon juice.
