Boxcar is offering local patrons an expanded menu starting Friday, August 21. Like most restaurants, Boxcar has been serving limited menus since reopening in May. While the restaurant continues to offer limited dine-in service including counter-orders only, the team is thrilled to bring back a full menu featuring a variety of new dishes.

Created by Executive Chef Brian Carson, Boxcar’s new menu expands upon signature classics with a selection of new additions similar to its sister restaurant Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar. Menu mainstays include Boxcar’s Vagabond sandwich, the Twerky Time sandwich and Korean Fried Chicken. New expanded items include appetizers like Loaded Pork Skins and Springer Mountain Chicken Wings alongside a build-your-own burger section with various patty options and topping combos. In addition, new entrée dishes will include choices like Fish and Chips, Vegan Meatloaf and North of Ponce Chicken Strips along with an assortment of salads and seasonal soups.

Atlanta diners are welcome to enjoy the expanded menu options from the restaurant’s limited dining room, spacious open container patio or order online and pick up curbside! Boxcar will also continue to serve a variety of refreshing cocktails, draft brews and natural wines that pair perfectly with every meal. While closed on Monday and Tuesday for enhanced cleaning protocol, Boxcar is open Wednesday & Thursday from 3 – 1o p.m. and Friday – Sunday from 12 – 10 p.m.

Boxcar will continue to implement all proper safety and sanitation measures in accordance with the Georgia Department of Public Health and CDC including mandatory masks, limited dine-in service and social distancing.
