Following its announcement in May that it would be growing to 100 locations by 2019, Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), a Dallas-based casual dining concept, is well on its way to achieving its goal with several recent openings and franchise signings.

Most recently, a group of local entrepreneurs led by Jesus Ojeda, signed a deal for two units in the city of El Paso, Texas, with goals for developing more restaurants in the El Paso market as well as in Las Cruces, New Mexico in the near future. This deal mimics the positive growth Boston’s is seeing in other parts of the country, including recent openings in Arizona, Michigan, Maryland, and Virginia as well as rapid growth in Tuxtla, Patio Santa Fe, and Monterrey, Mexico.

This substantial growth is a direct reflection of the turnaround Boston’s has made in the past year. The casual dining chain has recently taken on a new corporate team to restructure the brand and provide further support to franchisees, as well as revamped their menu to promote quality, gourmet taste and to stand out among competitors. Additionally, the restaurants will now offer an enlarged sports bar, a premium TV package, and a sleek yet comfortable design.

“We couldn’t be happier to see our company’s rebranding efforts succeed, and result in multi-unit deals such as the most recent signing in El Paso,” says Erik Premont, director of franchise sales for Boston’s. “Boston’s overall design and menu items are better than ever, and we’re sure the El Paso community will embrace our fun, friendly atmosphere.”

Boston’s aggressive growth plans are a part of the company’s internal campaign called the Road to 100, a company-wide goal of growing the brand to 100 restaurants in the next three years through qualified franchise partners. Potential franchisees would preferably have current or prior full-service restaurant hospitality/service experience and must possess strong business acumen and analytics. In addition, they should have a strong desire to deliver a high level of service that exceeds customer’s expectations.

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar’s U.S. operations are based in Dallas and the company currently has 29 locations operating in 22 states.
