The Boston Wine Expo, New England’s premiere wine exposition, has transformed from a two-day event into a week-long celebration of wine, food and culture. This year the expo will introduce all-new event features and program highlights, starting with a new date. The Boston Wine Expo has moved to February and will take place between Valentine’s Day and the long President’s Day weekend, giving guests double the reason to celebrate. Additional features to this year’s event include a VIP Tasting Experience, Social Media Lounge, and an expanded Mobile App.

The seminar series will be hosted by some of the most knowledgeable professionals in the industry including Jean-Charles Boisset & Gina Gallo, Wine Spectator’s Gloria Maroti Frazee, and TJ Douglas. Attendees can also partner up to enjoy interactive seminars such as; “Jeopardy! Italian Wine Style!” for a fun game show style quiz.

The grand tasting will feature more than 200 wineries from over 15 countries as well as culinary creations from the area’s most popular restaurants and live celebrity chef demonstrations. Guests looking for the ultimate sophisticated wine experience can visit the Grand Cru Wine Lounge for exclusive tastings of rare and expensive vintages (reds poured from $75 and up and whites from $45 and up).

The Expo will take place Saturday, February 16 and Sunday February 17 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Seaport World Trade Center and Seaport Hotel
