On Thursday, October 27, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, the world’s largest Mexican casual dining brand, is topping its fan-favorite margaritas with 40-cent meltdowns of Grand Marnier, House Gold Tequila, Blue Curacao or 1800 Silver Tequila. Plus, guests can add a 40-cent cup of Queso and 40-cent Sopapilla to their meal. Dine-in only at participating locations. These unbelievable birthday deals are to celebrate the brand’s birthday and thank their guests for 40 years of community love.

“It feels like yesterday we opened our doors, and we’ve never stopped bringing our guests fun, bold experiences and scratch menu items that makes them keep coming back for more,” says Edithann Ramey, chief marketing officer at On The Border. “Since 1982 we’ve grown to more than 120 locations and continue to transform our delicious Tex-Mex menu, while staying grounded in our bold traditions.”

The celebration kicked off this week, with a new limited time menu featuring fan-favorites from On The Border’s original 1982 menu, including:

  • Campfire Queso
  • Double-Stacked Club Quesadillas
  • Barbacoa Enchiladas
  • Steak & Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
  • Honey-Chipotle Salmon

The menu also offers the new Birthday ‘Rita, a Grande frozen house margarita blended with a hint of birthday cake, rimmed with confetti and sprinkles; and Birthday Cake, On The Border’s new Tres Leches Cake covered in decadent Mexican chocolate and confetti sprinkles.

“We’ve been celebrating all year! We have honored tenure employees, brought back fan favorite menu items, and can’t wait to top it off with the big bash on October 27,” says Ramey.  “We are proud of our long history, and excited that guests keep coming back for the authentic experience and delicious Tex-Mex food they know and love.”
