JNK Concepts is proud to announce the opening of Bombay Spice Grill & Wine in Chicago’s chic River North neighborhood on Monday, July 11. Like the popular location in Phoenix, Arizona, this new outpost will serve healthy and flavorful redefined Indian cuisine. The restaurant is located at 111 W. Illinois St.(at Clark Street), in the center of Chicago’s bustling restaurant scene.

Bombay Spice Grill & Wine offers a unique twist on Indian cuisine: healthy, delicious dishes in a contemporary dining environment. Executive chef Sunil Kumar takes pride in serving Indian food that is not only healthy, but satisfying to the palette.With a rising focus on eating healthy, Chef Sunil believes more people will benefit from his dishes without feeling as if they have sacrificed the pleasures of eating.

All dishes are prepared with olive oil rather than ghee or butter, providing low-fat, heart-healthy meals without compromising authentic Indian flavors. The nutritional content of each dish can be viewed at the restaurant or at bombayspice.com.

A variety of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan-friendly options are available. The inventive menu features authentic and unique dishes including shrimp tikka skewers, chickpea ceviche, grilled lamb chops, chicken tikka and lentil cakes. The roti and naan breads, favorites throughout India and a staple of the Indian diet, are made fresh daily.

Guests with an interest in wine will take particular note of the twenty-five internationally selected wines for $25 per bottle. Glasses or bottles of wine can be enjoyed right at the casual wine bar or comfortably at one of the dining tables.  

Bombay Spice seats sixty guests and patio seating will be available later this summer. A take-out window is located right on Clark Street for convenience. Lunch and dinner hours are Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.–11 p.m.A late night menu will be offered.
