Bloomin’ Brands, Inc.’s restaurants – Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar – are supporting Hurricane Ian relief efforts by collectively donating up to $125,000 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Ian Relief fund through their Dine Rewards programs. Donations to the American Red Cross help provide shelter, meals, medical care, and other necessities to those who have been displaced or impacted by the storm.

Beginning October 14, 2022, Outback, Carrabba’s, and Bonefish will donate $1 for every Dine Rewards visit, and Fleming’s $5 for every visit, at nearly 1,000 participating locations nationwide through October 31, 2022. Guests can join the movement by adding an additional donation to their checks when dining in.

Bloomin’ Brands is a Tampa-based company founded with a promise to take care of its guests, employees, and the community while being a source of strength during a time of need. In the two weeks since Hurricane Ian’s destruction, its restaurants have fed more than 11,000 first-responders, volunteers, and families in southwest Florida. In addition to this community contribution valued at more than $215,000, Bloomin’ Brands made an immediate impact donation of $10,000 to the Red Cross just days after Hurricane Ian made landfall.

“The effects of this storm are devastating for so many in southwest Florida, and we feel it’s our responsibility as a member of this community to step up and help however we can,” says Gregg Scarlett, Chief Operating Officer of Casual Dining Restaurants for Bloomin’ Brands. “We hope our guests will join us in our efforts so that together we can make a difference in a community that desperately needs our support.”
