BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse Now Pouring Tropical Hopstorm IPA

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is launching a brand-new seasonal IPA that is sure to take guests by storm: BJ’s Tropical Hopstorm IPA. A fresh take on the popular BJ’s Hopstorm IPA, the new beer is subtly sweet and boasts a tropical taste, promising to quickly become a new fan favorite. Available for a limited time only, from August 17 to November 8, this fierce and flavorful brew will be on tap at all restaurant locations, while supplies last.

BJ’s Restaurants is excited to introduce this juicy, complex IPA to their 2023 IPA Series, which is the brainchild of BJ’s SVP of Brewery Operations Alex Puchner and Head R&D Brewer Aaron Stueck. Brewed with 7 different hops—including a brand-new variety, Hop 1320, that is so new it hasn’t been named—this brew is a distinctive and complex blend of citrus, melon, pineapple, mango, stone fruit, and coconut. A medium-bodied beer (6.7% ABV, 52 IBU), BJ’s Tropical Hopstorm IPA has a mild, sweet malt flavor at first, and finishes with a smooth hop of bitterness, sure to please any palate.

In more toast-worthy news, BJ’s annual fan-favorite Oktoberfest German-style lager is also now available alongside the BJ’s Tropical Hopstorm IPA for a limited time. While the Tropical Hopstorm is the perfect summer sendoff, the toasty malt flavor and crisp hop bitterness of BJ’s Oktoberfest is the perfect introduction for fall.
