Big Al’s, a premier family-owned & family-friendly Sports Bar & Entertainment Center, plans to open a new Big Al’s location—its fifth—in California’s Silicon Valley in 2018.

At 46,000 square feet, Big Al’s Silicon Valley will be the premier entertainment & events venue in the area, particularly focused on casual fun for families, on first-class Corporate Events & private parties, and on local & professional sports viewing on Big Als’ famous 55-foot HD laser projection big Screen.

Located on the San Jose-Milpitas border at 15 Ranch Drive, Big Al’s will begin construction this Spring with a tentatively scheduled late fall grand opening. Like all Big Al’s high-end entertainment centers, Big Al’s will maintain its offering of upscale bowling lanes, state-of-the-art arcade gaming, a 21-plus entertainment space & private bar, and a stadium-like Sports Bar & Grill.

“When we first opened, we were one-of-a-kind; the industry didn’t quite know what to call us as we brought a host of entertainment options all under one roof,” says Daniel Kirkwood, Big Al’s president & CEO.

Others have certainly followed suit, but thankfully, we’re still one of a kind and I’m proud to bring our high-end, clean, family-friendly, employee-owned business to Silicon Valley.”

Food & Beverage Director Thomas King confirmed that Big Al’s Silicon Valley will maintain its innovative American pub fare menu including Big Al’s Famous Nachos and guest-favorite Peanut Butter Bacon Burger. The impressive menu will highlight Raiders great Bo Jackson’s 34 Reserve beef along with specialty drinks like the Netflix & Chill cocktail and a full selection of West Coast craft beer.

Big Al’s opened in Vancouver in 2006 to much fanfare, and most recently to the same in the Inland Empire (2017) —winning Best Sports Bar, Best Bowling Alley, and Best Place for Kids to Have Fun from local media outlets in just a few short months. Big Al’s Beaverton (OR) opened in 2010 with Big Al’s Meridian (ID) following shortly thereafter in 2012.
